not having the dedicated servers is ghey, but I just got into playing COD4:MW. In fact I just finished it on veteran, damn the epilogue lv in the plane is fucking hard...don't know why but it took me 1 1/2s to do but it was epic had like .4secs to shoot the guy with the VIP.

Not so much the community issue, but just host advantage, host migration, more wait time between games even if you don't switch maps, less customizable gametype options... Really fucking lame. The only good reason for them to do it is to be more controlling over DLC and map pack sales too, so it's a very greedy move into what's supposedly the very niche PC market to start with. |

the live chat made me hate IW more they avoided answering bandwith questions about what kind of upload speeds are required to run smoothly they insisted that 100 ms was great ping, when I can get 20-40 on some dedicated servers and they told us they took out the leaning feature of cod Edit: forgot about my favorite quote from the transcript Moriarte: Ignoring IW.net, is the PC version a direct port of the console version? Yeah I wasn't really expecting much. But they did seem to make things even worse for themselves. I can't believe they didn't add a /record function. The competitive side of FPS complained and waited for 3+ months for CoD:WAW to FINALLY patch in /record...and the tards decide it was a good idea not to add it to MW2?!?! Only good thing was they didn't say there is no chance for ever adding dedicated servers. Only way I will play is if they add mods, dedicated servers, and a /record. I can probably deal without lean...although taking it was the easy way out of preventing some "glitches". |

MW2 is a money grab, only console faggots that suck at fps will buy and enjoy this consolized pile of shit. Enjoy no dedicated servers, enjoy no LEAN, enjoy it being of a difficulty suitable for a 4 finger controller and not of a keyboard and mouse. Infinity ward took a huge shit on PC gamers with the release of this game, and it looks like most of you are bending over and loving it. Enjoy |

Rumor is the next CoD will be Vietnam, and of course the next one is not from IW, it's from the developers who did WaW, which I had no interest in, cause WWII is done to death, but there hasn't been anything Vietnam since BF:V. |
