I would readily say that the goons are the best collective "group" on the internet. Then again, just the rules against stupid internet speak and the requirements to use proper punctuation and formatting in your posts is a big plus for me. There are a lot of goons I would never, ever hang out with IRL, and a lot I wouldn't even want to associate with on the interwebs. But that's cool, cause there's so many of them and so many forum sub-sections that it's pretty easy to find the ones you actually like. Awesome forums, hilarious people to game with, and if you get in the right circles, you'll find amazing players at everything from any MMO, to any FPS, to any RTS there too. They aren't all just shit. The vast majority of gamers are shit, and so is a somewhat representative population of the SA membership as well. That's just statistics. And most of the best memes on the innernet started on SA. It's nice to be in on the ground floor on the funny shit before frat boys and the media run it into the ground.

I think a grim reaper image would be pretty cool, unfortunately I'm not really all that artistic, I resized, cropped and converted a few google images I found to 256X256 bmp.
