Asmodians are going to attract the same gutter slime that Destro did in Warhammer, and Horde did in WoW. ...the majority of the shittiest players all roll the "evil" faction. I think your "target market" for recruitment (if you are intending on building a guild out of people you meet in game) will be better met by the people that roll Elyos. After dealing with the disappointments of AoC and Warhammer, I'm ready to suck this games dick. Its not officially out of beta but it plays better than most games that have been released for over a year. Elyos have superior warrior/priest DP skill, Asmodian have superior scout/mage DP skill. Keep in mind those 4 archetypes are actually the 8 classes in the game, just at the root level. Warrior Elyos Increases physical attack power and maximum hp by 30% for 30 seconds Target: Self only Casting: Instant Re-use time: 1 minute Asmodians Inflicts 410~421 physical damage and drains hp for same amount as the damage inflicted. Target: PC Casting: Instant Re-use time: 1 minute Scout Elyos Evades all physical attacks for 10 seconds Self only Asmodians Increases evasion, normal weapon resistance, shield resistance by 100%, increases resistance to all elements by 100% for 10 seconds Self only Mage Elyos Restores mana by 75% Self only Asmodians Increases casting speed by 50% and all skills consume 0 mp for 10 seconds self only Priest Elyos Absorbs damages up to 2000 at 100% rate for 30 seconds everytime you are attacked self only Asmodians Restores 100 hp every 3 seconds for 30 seconds self only

Give it to the Chinese and Koreans, they will play anything, let them work out the bugs for the westerners. Sorry Voyvoda, they don't allow video games in Iran.

Just a few points I want to make clear; Release dates for Korea & China were Nov. 25th 2008 and April 16th 2009, respectively. So the game has only been in wide release for 6-8 months. July 17th 2009 for japan, not that long ago. The game IS in beta, in the USA & EU. The game has already seen wide release in asia and 2 successive patches(current version 1.2). The only version played in the USA & EU betas was version 1.0. USA & EU release will come with global patch 1.5, which changes a fuckton of shit. It is also this version that will be running during the upcoming open beta. Yes I know what you mean, but still. They're calling/called the playtests open/closed betas for a reason. And yes, because the game already has a few million subscribers(arguably more than wow already O.o ) it is ludicrously polished & much more enjoyable than any other mmo I've seen at this stage of release.
