Player mounts will soon be cheaper to acquire, available at earlier levels, and -- in some cases -- even a little speedier. As part of the upcoming 3.2 patch, you can expect the following changes to be implemented in order to "further improve the leveling experience in World of Warcraft": Apprentice Riding (Skill 75) * 60% land mount speed * Requires level 20 (instead of 30) * Cost: 4 gold * Mount cost: 1 gold * Mail will be sent to players at level 20 guiding them to the riding trainer Journeyman Riding (Skill 150) * 100% land mount speed * Requires level 40 (instead of 60) * Cost: 50 gold * Mount cost: 10 gold * Mail will be sent to players at level 40 guiding them back to the riding trainer Expert Riding (Skill 225) * 150% flying mount speed; 60% land mount speed * Requires level 60 (instead of 70) * Cost: 600 gold (faction discounts now apply) * Mount Cost: 50 gold * Can now be learned in Honor Hold (Alliance) or Thrallmar (Horde) Artisan Riding (Skill 300) * 280% flying mount speed; 100% land mount speed * Requires level 70 * Cost: 5,000 gold (faction discounts now apply) * Mount Cost: 100 gold Additionally, all mounts will take 1.5 seconds to summon -- instead of the usual cast time of three seconds -- and Wrath of the Lich King's Cold Weather Flying skill will, unfortunately, retain its 1000 gold fee. Blizzard's Zarhym later clarified the reasoning behind the game's easier-to-acquire rides. "The game has gotten quite a bit longer, and allowing players to get from A to B faster only very minimally decreases difficulty; more so, it decreases time spent traveling," explained the Blizzard poster, continuing, "We don't want to discourage players from trying out the game if they have not yet, and we especially don't want to discourage existing players from trying out new characters because the leveling process from 1-80 seems too daunting after flying around Northrend grabbing purples for a while." Are you excited about Blizzard's decision to continue speeding up the leveling process? Or would you rather they hit the brakes for a bit? |

No PVP. Completely Cookie Cutter. Ultra simplified game play so Joe Fratboy consul gamer can get it. No original ideas. Graphic design for children. Accomplishments are accomplishments. Non Lateral Expansion. ie, you do not have to complete previous content to play current content. 6 years and classes are yet to be balanced. No respect for their own lore. Empty promises. (4 year old promises for siege weapons) GMs banning people for open world PVP. Still only 4 battlegrounds. Completely gear based system. Live events are based around peace and love and candy. Corpse runs. Repairing gear, unfair for tanks BTW. The Barrens Chat Too much down time, waiting around for other players to do anything. Hunters who roll need for everything. People that accuse you of hacking, cheating, or exploiting when you are not. Just because you are kicking their ass. And Blizzard just wants your money. Just to name a few. |

They're doing what any captialist business should do, find a way to maximize profits. That way for them happened to be appealing to the casual gamer. Which is completely fine, but that doesn't mean I have any respect for the game or the company. I don't want to login and group with frat boys and teenage girls who can't play for shit. You're confusing "Biggest and easiest" with best. Polished turds make no substitutions for rough diamonds. There are still games and companies that will continue to appeal to the avid gamer, and that's where you can find me. |

Just because you sister has fucked 11 million dudes doesn't mean she is good, it just means she is easy. The game is far from the best out there. Virtually any other MMO is more balanced. Other MMOs are just not easy mode. You probably think halo is the best FPS ever. |

Ill tell you what.. do the 10 day trial tell me if it is easy still. You are missing out on a lot. Sure you can be a mindless worthless fuck and not play well. To play a chosen or black orc well someone needs 3 full action bars, class based addons, and to have a mind for micromanagement. 8 million people that like and enjoy the game is still times over the amount of players in any other mmo...... Wow has been the top mmo for 5 years running, from the get go at launch till now and there's nothing really poised to knock them down in the near future. Think of how long 5 years is in the gaming world for a second, have you ever played ANY game for 5 years, ever played any game for 2 years even? If you have, chances are its wow, just because 'you' might have outgrown it doesnt detract from the quality of the game, no other mmo i'v ever played, tested or demo'd has wow's addictivness, polish and gameplay, if you look at it objectivley i'm pretty sure you'd agree. Something can be the best without you personally liking it, i can think of alot of great movies for example that i dont particularly like, and lots of downright horrible ones that i love. WoW's set a standard that hasnt even come close to being reached or surpassed by anyone else as yet, and thats ultimately why its still the top Mmo out there. |

1. Easy does not = good 2. It was fine until expansions. If they had "classic servers" I would have fewer things to say about it. Everything they do is to make it easier for the masses of unskilled fucks to accomplish shit. I don't know anyone who plays it that does not have issues with it. WoW is the pop music of video games, just because Britney Spears sells a lot of albums does not make her talented or good. |

WoW has and always will be better than WAR not because WAR cators to the more "mature" gamer or because of it's die-hard pvp oriented style it's simply a better game and will continue to be a better game in all aspects pvp/pve alike |
