That wouldn't be any good either though. You need stupid people around for menial tasks. Not to mention you'd have to add in some physical criterion as well, as you don't want a race getting continually weaker physically either. But at the same time, you don't want to be losing a Hawking due to that. |

IQ has nothing to do with physical strength. The same distribution of physically able or physically superior people reside in top 10% as anywhere else in the scale. In fact it has been shown that athletic performance and intelligence often go hand in hand. Especially in endeavors that require strategy, precision, or monitoring an overwhelming number of factors. As for "menial tasks", IQ is not as big a determiner of profession as you may think. While we may have fewer people to run factories, lets face facts, they are being replaced by robots. The only concession that may be made is for some extremely superior physical specimen or artistic ability. If you can contribute genetically or culturally you should be okay. |

100-200 years mankind will have a complete mastery over the human genome. Along with it we will be able to synthesize perfect organs and create the first truly organic computers. I wouldn't be surprised if AI is developed in that time frame too. Ether way transhumanisim is the inevitable outcome of technology and humans as we know it will be an extincted species. My solution to the worlds problem is once these technologies are in place we need to kill off 70% of the human cancer leaving preferably transhuman Anglo-whites from European origin(the new man) to rule the world and explore the stars.
